Deposit:
Non-track package bookings must be paid for in full to confirm the booking.
A non refundable deposit of $120.00 per person must be paid on confirmation for Track Package bookings. If the desired dates required are not available, your money will be refunded in full. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid.
Final Payments - Track Packages:
Final payments for Track Package bookings are to reach Kiwi Discovery no later than 28 days prior to departure, or for a late booking, immediately.
Cancellation:
If you cancel your trip within 24 hours of trip commencement, a cancellation fee may be incurred. If a cancellation is made one hour or less before the trip commencement, no refund will be given. Kiwi Discovery reserve the right to ammend, cancel, or postpone services due to weather, road conditions and/or at their own discretion.
For Track Package bookings, a cancellation after a confirmed booking has been made will incur a fee of $120.00 per person. Any bookings cancelled 7-28 days prior to departure may incur additional charges due to accommodation and\or track cancellation fees. Cancellations received 7 days or less are fully non-refundable.
Amendments - Track Packages:
Amendments of confirmed arrangements incur a $60.00 charge per person plus any fees or cancellation charges imposed by accommodation and the Department of Conservation.
Refunds:
No refunds will be made on unused portions of a product or trip. Bookings cancelled, amended or altered after travel has commenced do not qualify for any refund. Refunds may be considered only under extenuating circumstances or in accordance with the Cancellation policy described above.
Travel Insurance:
Kiwi Discovery strongly recommends you purchase travel insurance at the time of booking. We suggest it cover loss of deposit, cancellation fees and loss of baggage.
Holiday Costs:
All holidays and quoted prices are based on prices at time of printing and the right is hereby specifically reserved to modify without notice the itinerary and prices in any way considered necessary or desirable. Prices shown include New Zealand Goods & Services Tax.
Carriage & Tarriff Responsibilities:
Kiwi Discovery can not accept liability for losses or additional expenses due to delays be it transport services, sickness, weather, injury or other causes. Baggage and personal effects are the passenger’s own risk throughout the holiday and it is the passenger’s responsibility to effect insurance. The responsibilities of other carriers are limited as specified in their tickets, conditions of carriage and tariffs. Kiwi Discovery reserves the right to substitute accommodation of a similar standard if a client’s original choice is unavailable.
Track accommodation is provided by the Department of Conservation. Kiwi Discovery does not accept liability for any actions or omissions on behalf of accommodation and transport providers over whom the company has no direct or exclusive control.
