Ski and Snowboard Rentals

There are a number of great reasons to rent your gear with Kiwi Discovery centrally located in town.

• Get fitted out by our expert staff on arrival in Queenstown and while you head off to eat or explore town, we deliver your equipment to your accommodation.
• Save valuable time by getting your gear before heading to the ski fields - do you really want to spend your valuable powder time in a queue?
• You keep the same equipment for your entire holiday - no mucking around renting each time you change ski fields
• Our fully qualified ski technicians service and tune our fleet of skis and snowboards after every use, ensuring that the equipment hired is of high quality
• Chat to the friendly staff and gain some local knowledge where best to head before you get to the mountain

• Be confident that we have have your size or request, and if not, you have the chance to look elsewhere before heading up the mountain

We have a huge range of equipment (over 800 sets) from standard skis through to the new seasons performance skis. All rental skis are carving skis, designed to suit New Zealand's snow conditions. Skis are replaced in their third and final season.

Our fleet of snowboards and boots will have you looking the part. With brands like Quiksilver and Vans, the boards not only look good, the performance quality of these rentals is fantastic too.

Clothing Rentals

We also stock a large range of clothing rentals from sizes XXS to 6XL and childrens suits, there's something to fit everyone. Our jackets and pants have a high water-proof rating and are comfortable and practical. Laundered after every use, our clothing range is clean and will keep you warm and dry on the mountain.
We have a range of gloves, goggles and hats also for same as well as thermals and socks. You can get everything in one go!

Helmets & Wrist Guards

A full range of helmets are available for rent, from children's sizes through to adult sizes. We recommend that helmets are hired for children, however it is not a requirement. Wrist guards are available for hire also and are included in the snowboard package rate if you require them.

Insurance

We offer an insurance option to cover any accidental damage to the rental equipment. This is great peace of mind so you can just enjoy being on the slopes!

The insurance is paid on a per day rate and covers you against any broken or damaged equipment. If you choose to not take the insurance option you will be liable for the costs of anything deemed to be outside of normal wear and tear on the equipment.

At just $3 a day, why wouldn't you cover yourself?!
