Resort Description: Although the lowest altitude of all the resorts, Coronet Peak has some fantastic snow conditions that are complimented by a world class snowmaking system. With its close proximity to Queenstown, Coronet Peak is extremely popular with tourists and locals alike. Wide open runs are great for beginners and intermediates, with exchange drop and the back bowls great for the experts!

Terrain: 20% Beginners, 45% Intermediate, 35% Advanced

Base Elevation: 1220 metres

Top Elevation: 1649 metres

Vertical: 462 metres

Lifts: 1 high speed 6 seater, 1 express quad chair, 1 express double chair, 1 T-Bar, 3 Magic Carpets

Night Skiing

The only resort to offer night skiing, Coronet Peak turns on the lights so you can carve some turns down the M1 while the sun goes down.

Opening hours from 4pm - 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights (subject to weather and snow conditions).

  


 

 
 


Mountain Facilities

Base Facilities: Guest services and ticketing, ski school, rentals, snow shop.

Lockers: Daily lockers are available for a daily rate.

Cafes: Coronet Peak Cafe & Restaurant, Mexican Cantina, Heidi's Hut at Rocky Gully.

Ski/Snowboard School: Lessons available for all ages and abilities, both private and group options. Development and school holiday programs available.

Kids Centres/Childcare: Kiwi Kids Early Learning program (maybe some snow play), Skiwi Kids Program (1hour ski lesson).
